Dear Vince,

The first week in May marks Mental Health Week in Canada, and while the weather is getting sunnier, our mental dispositions might not be so sunny.

Like exercise, staying mentally healthy requires effort. In fact, the two go hand-in-hand. Recent research shows that physical activity has an important role to play in the prevention and treatment of depression. While it’s no replacement for advice from an expert, we know at least five types of exercise that are proven to help with depression.
